Nick Rogers is the Regional Sanctioning rep over Region #4 (6 States- IA, MN, WI, ND, SD & NE)! Nick will be overseeing regional sanctioning responsibilities and working with a team of state reps throughout his region to assist with pursuing national standards for Amateur MMA.
Rogers started his journey into Mixed Martial Arts in 2006 as a way to stay in shape. Since starting in the sport competitively, he amassed a 15-3 professional record, won 2 regional titles in the state of Iowa, and achieving the #4 ranked professional heavyweight in Iowa per Tapology.com before retiring from active competition.
During his time as a competitive athlete, Rogers competed for notable promotions including King of the Cage (KOTC), Victory Fighting Championship – VFC, and Extreme Challenge. In addition to competing, Rogers also spent time as and gym owner, manager, and Head MMA Coach at many successful gyms such as: Fighting Arts Systems, Renegade Combat Sports and One Combat Academy in Sioux City, IA.
Rogers says the most rewarding part of his journey was “helping other fighters to be successful and achieve their goals”. After retiring from competition in 2016, Rogers moved to Minnesota with his wife Alicia and 4 children and continues a career in Law Enforcement that started in 2011.
Even after the move, Rogers still stays active in the sport helping with regional shows in Minnesota and coaching at Nordic Warriors Boxing Academy. Rogers has experience with several different Sanctioning Bodies across several different states in the US and has assisted in Event Coordination for promotions throughout many years.
He is excited to use this experience in his role with USFMMA and we are very proud to have Mr. Rogers on board the team!
