Coach John C Brown of Revolution Gym & Fight University in Overland, KS has been appointed as a Regional Director for Region 3 with GAMMA USA! Region 3 encompasses the great states of TX, OK, KS, CO and NM. John was one of the National Team Coaches supporting the USA National team at 2024 GAMMA World Championship in Indonesia.
John Brown has been involved in martial arts for the better part of 50 years. John holds master levels of rank in Taekwondo, and Hapkido, as well as a 3rd dan in Judo, with deep studies in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Submission Grappling.
John had the opportunity to compete for 45 of those years and successfully garner national, international, and world titles in full contact karate and taekwondo federations, as well as compete in NHB and MMA, with a stellar record over 25 years. John has taught for nearly 40 of those years, with the honor of training several successful Bellator and UFC competitors.
With the development of a defensive tactics and combatives program for our military and first responders, along with the traditional and sport oriented students, John still finds himself on the mat many hours of the day, doing what he loves to do… progress the arts.
