Dominick Cruz began his competitive career in wrestling as a youth in AZ. After graduating high school, he began to take boxing classes and eventually made his debut in MMA in 2005. He went on to win the WEC: World Extreme Cagefighting bantamweight title with two successful defenses and was announced as the UFC bantamweight champion in 2010 after the merger. He defended his UFC title four times by defeating some of the biggest names in the UFC including: Urijah Faber, TJ Dillashaw & Demetrious Johnson.
Cruz still trains full-time and is looking to continue his UFC career. He also supports his teammates in training at Alliance MMA Gym , a “who’s who” list in the world of MMA.
